Today’s readings inculcate that God’s presence is not a fleeting gift. He remains with us
always! Jesus promised, “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18).
Through the Holy Spirit, He dwells within us, guiding and strengthening us in love.
The Holy Spirit is not just alongside us but alive within us, continuing Jesus’ work,
teaching us, and reminding us of His truth. Though we may not fully understand God’s
ways, we must move forward with peace, trust, and purpose.
Jesus’ departure was not abandonment but a call to action. “Whoever loves me will
keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our
dwelling with him.’ (John 14:23) We cannot be passive in faith. Instead, we must open
our hearts in prayer, discern His will, and live boldly as temples of the Holy Spirit.
God has not left us alone. His Spirit fills us with peace amid trials, courage in
uncertainty, and the assurance that we are never abandoned. Let us embrace this gift
and live each day as people of the Resurrection, faithful, fearless, and filled with His
love!
