In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells the story of a persistent widow who refuses to give up until she is heard. Her courage and determination remind us that true faith prays, hopes, and acts—without losing heart.
This parable isn’t only about prayer. It’s also about seeking justice, especially for those who have no voice. During this Respect Life Month, we remember the unborn, the sick, the elderly, and the vulnerable. They cannot speak for themselves, but we can—through our prayers, compassion, and witness for life.
If even an unjust judge listens to the widow, how much more will our loving God hear our persistent prayers? Prayer connects us to God’s heart and strengthens us to do what is right.
So let us keep praying, keep believing, and keep using our voices for life and for love—trusting that God always hears the cry of His people.
“Pray always, and do not lose heart.”
