5th Sunday of Easter: “Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life”

Blurbs by Rev.Fr.Pete Literal

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reassures us: “In my Father’s house there are many dwelling
places… I will come back again and take you to myself.” This promise invites us not
only to hope for the future, but to live with purpose today.
Scripture tells us that Jesus is the cornerstone, chosen and precious.
Our lives and our community must be built on Him. The early Christians show us how:
They prayed together. They served one another. They shared their lives in faith. They
knew that only through Jesus could they live this way.
Our Call Today is to commit ourselves to Jesus, participate in prayer and the
sacraments, serve and care for one another, and share our faith with others. In doing
so, we don’t just attend church—we become the Church. Remember, we are called from
darkness into light. We are called to become like Jesus. We are called to be His
presence for others
Let us reflect and ask ourselves whether we are partnering with Jesus in building our
lives. Am I helping build our faith community and Filipino ministry?
Remember, through Him, with Him, and in Him—everything is possible.
