LOOKING BACK … The journey of our faith led us to the door of the welcoming arms of CMOQ.
NOW IS THE TIME! …
MOVE ON PINOY, SHARE THE VIBRANT SPIRIT OF THE PHILIPPINE CHURCH TO THE WORLD!
Vision
The Department of Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Baltimore seeks to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ into every human situation, attentive to the signs of the times, through the service of pastoral leaders and all Catholics.
Mission Statement:
The Archdiocesan Filipino Council (AFC) builds upon the rich Catholic legacy of faith in its culture and seeks to “bring about in all Catholics in the archdiocese such an enthusiasm for their faith that, in living their faith in Jesus, they freely share it with others,” (Archdiocesan Evangelization Department Mission Statement.)
The AFC is committed to serve the Filipino communities/ministries in the Archdiocese of Baltimore by representing the Filipino Catholic Community in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It will promote Filipino Catholic values and active participation among Filipino families in the life of the local Church, under the guidance of the Archdiocesan Department of Evangelization.
Responding to the call of the Church, the AFC will work towards the solidarity of all Filipino Catholic organizations, developing a commitment of Filipino groups towards active participation in the Archdiocese, and training Filipino leaders for the continuing work of the mission of the Church in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

MOVING FORWARD ...
The Filipinos are forever grateful to the parishioners of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, especially to our Rector, Mgr., Bruce Jarboe for their hospitality and for being the generous host of our various activities and the culminating Eucharist of the celebration of the 2011 San Lorenzo Ruiz Feast Day. This religious event becomes a faith transformation experience for all of us that energized us to serve more the Lord with Joy in the Spirit!
The CMOQ is a symbol and one of the center of Liturgical and Faith Assemblies of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. When they open the door of faith and welcome us Filipinos, we suddenly found a culminating haven of its faith journey and ignites the spark that sets our hearts ablaze in serving the Lord.
This momentum becomes the signal of the start of a new journey of faith for the Filipinos/ Fil-Ams as we are led by the Spirit to strengthen our communion and excitement, as we look forward to the dynamic inter-action of faith in a diverse cultural set up.
The ARCHDIOCESE OF BALTIMORE – ARCHDIOCESAN FILIPINO COUNCIL is the fruition of so many years of collaborative endeavors of the pioneers and new generations of Filipinos working to unite us all under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and be of service to the Archdiocese of Baltimore.!
The time has come … Make A Stand! Make a choice and make a difference!
